TIFA YUNUS CLIENT AGREEMENT Wedding Gown / Custom Outfit Contract

(Hereinafter referred to as “Designer”) 

Tifa Yunus agrees to design and produce a custom [Wedding Gown / Event Outfit] for the Client, tailored to their specifications as discussed during consultation.

  • A non-refundable consultation fee is required to begin the design process.
  • A retainer of 50%-70% is required to initiate production. The balance is due before final delivery or pick-up. Please note that payments for services; Initial deposits or full payments are non-refundable.
  •  Express Orders:  3 weeks to 2 week is express and it comes with an extra 500gh; for less beading. 1000 cedis for heavy beading.  

    -Express service: 1 week, comes with a 30% of the dress cost paid upfront.

  • Illustration of a gown attracts a non-refundable fee.
  • Wedding gown bookings must be made at least 5 months before the event, especially if you leave outside Ghana and 3-5 months if you leave in Ghana.
  • Three (3) fittings will be scheduled unless the client opts out or is not in Ghana. 
  • Delays due to client unavailability or failure to communicate body changes may affect the final fit.
  • No complaints will be accepted unless the garment has been physically tried on.
    Very important!

The Core Purpose of Fittings:
To Check Fit Accuracy. Measurements on paper are theory.
A fitting shows:

  • Shoulder alighnment
  • Bust positioning
  • Waist balance
  • Hip ease
  • Length proportion
  • Sleeve movement

Bodies shift, Posture differs, Weight fluctuates. Without fitting, you are guessing.

 

  • After consultation: Client signs or confirms:
    Once sketch, color and fabric are approved, changes will attract additional charges and may affect delivery date.
  • Third-Party Influence Clause:
    We understand that weddings and special events often involve family input and shared excitement. While we value and respect opinions from loved ones, all final design approvals must come directly from the client during consultation.
    Once a design, color, and fabric selection have been approved and production has begun, any adjustments requested due to third-party influence will be treated as a design variation and may attract additional costs and revised timelines.
  • Wedding gown pricing includes fabric and embellishments. No external fabric is accepted.
  • For traditional or non-bridal wear, clients may provide their own fabric or request the brand to source it at a cost.
  • The Client is responsible for ensuring accurate body measurements if living abroad.
  • Tifa Yunus will not be held liable for discrepancies caused by unreported body changes.
  • All payments made are non-refundable.
  • No changes to the design can be made after the first fitting without an additional fee and approval.

All personal and design details shared by the Client will be treated as confidential by Tifa Yunus.

The Designer reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time if:
• The Client breaches any terms of this contract;
• There is persistent non-payment or delayed payment;
• There is disrespectful, abusive, or unprofessional communication;
• The Client makes continuous changes outside the agreed scope of work, without proper communication
• The working relationship becomes unworkable due to inappropriate behaviors

In the event of termination by the Client, all payments made are non-refundable, and the Client will be responsible for payment of work completed up to the termination date.

In the event of termination by the Designer, the Client will receive a refund only for work not yet commenced, excluding consultation fees, fabric sourcing, and labor already completed, and administrative costs.

This contract constitutes the full agreement between both parties. No oral or other written agreements will be honored unless formally amended in writing by both parties.
